Why Groody Brothers? "Why should I ship my bike to you when there are local guys who will powder coat it for me?" That is a great question...but the answer is pretty simple, most local powder coating shops are simply looking for jobs to do, they will coat flower pots, lawn mowers, lawn chairs...whatever gets sent their way, it is all just metal to them. At "Groody Brothers Bicycle Restoration Project" we are bicycle enthusiast who understand that a bike is not JUST a piece of metal, it is personal. We are powder coaters and bicycle mechanics who understand how a bike is assembled, and how it needs to be coated. We protect the thread and race areas, cap off seat tubes, knock off the headset race that gets overlooked, face the bottom bracket if needed....and the list goes on. We treat each bike like it was our own. We pay attention to the details like not filling in the lugs and stamping with powder so the detail is not lost that makes a frame unique. We also work with customers to get the right graphics applied, repair broken welds, remove or add braze-on's as desired....the list goes on.
